Based in Kyoto, Tabata-san produces unique occasional lighting pieces that look good in every room of the house. Battery powered versions are available so the bathroom needn't miss out!

Tabata-san's lighting combines traditional materials such as washi (handmade Japanese paper) and fabric with unique shapes to deliver a range of lighting that will add a touch of Zen to any room.

The "neutral" appearance of the natural materials means that the lighting blends well with all colour schemes. And it looks good whether on a table or, Japan style, on a tatami mat or other flooring.

You can browse Tabata-san's work in our Lighting Gallery and you can buy it in our Online Lighting Shop.

We will be adding more lighting by Tabata-san so please check back again or contact us directly if you want to know more about the full range of handmade lighting.
